The University of Manchester is launching a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) at Coursera.org, due to start in February 2016. The course will last for 8 weeks, will require 1 to 3 hours of study per week and will be taught by University of Manchester Lecturer Dr. Vijayaraghavan. The following topics will be covered as part of the lectures: 2D material production techniques, electronic properties, mechanical properties, biomedical applications and graphene heterostructures.

The course would require an interest in the science of graphene and a good knowledge of general physics and chemistry.
